VT Accounting Services was engaged to assist our client, an advisory services firm, with internal audit and regulatory compliance testing for a bank with over $1 billion in assets. The scope of work includes test-of-design (TOD), test-of-effectiveness (TOE), and compliance testing.

IPO SOX Readiness

Our client, a top 50 CPA & Advisory firm, contracted us to provide IPO readiness advisory services for a building products distributor who is planning to go public in 2023. Scope of work included creation, review, and/or evaluation of the following: risk and control matrices, process narratives, and test steps/attributes.

Production Accounting

Client: Matte Projects

Our client owns a creative studio that works on several independent projects with renowned brands and people. VT Accounting Services has provided production accounting services for several of Matte Projects’ productions with budgets spanning from $300k to over $1 million. Scope of work includes bookkeeping, expense tracking from pre-production to post-production, post-production analysis, and actual vs budget reporting.

SOC Report Testing Support

VT Accounting Services was engaged to assist our client, a CPA firm, with ongoing testing support for Service Organization Type 2 (SOC2) audits. Scope of work included drafting of controls, creating PBC requests and reviewing PBC request submissions, performing testing, and drafting of the report.

Tax Advisory Consulting

Our client, a UK-based fashion company, contracted us to provide an advisory report on the tax implications of hosting pop-up shop events in the U.S.

Bookkeeping

Client: IA Creative Studio

Our client owns a creative studio and owns a rental studio. VT Accounting Services provides bookkeeping and payroll services to keep track of revenue made from studio space rentals, pay contractors, and record revenue made from projects.

Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Testing

Our client, a CPA & Advisory firm, contracted us to provide testing support for various clients spanning the real estate, financial services, and pharmaceutical industry. Scope of work included management review of testing performed and potential follow-up inquiries, and performing testing of revenue, financial reporting, and accounts payable controls.
